Education is Black Business!

This month, we have to step away from our traditional focus of "business." We will be focusing on education because it is the foundation of all business! To start the new year, we need some innocence, newness, pure laughter, silliness and above all brilliance. We will focus on the preparedness and pride of our children because it's a fight that has lingered for generations and Black and Brown youth have suffered the most. Let's help be an ACTUAL solution to the end of "significant gaps in achievement among racial lines."

I attended a graduation a couple of years ago where I saw brilliance on stage. 4, 5 and 6 year olds understanding concepts most of us did not comprehend until we were 10. The 4th and 5th graders were poised, happy, confident, proud, smart and attentive. They were definitely Royals! I AM A WITNESS TO THIS EDUCATIONAL STANDARD AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!
